Chips away day...

Morning all.

Finally got round to getting the stone chip, scratch and minor curbing fixed by chips away. So far Steve has done a great job with the sanding and spraying of the colour and clear coat. Will update the pictures once he has polished them up..

should that type of repair be done in closed areas?

So far it's been fine. The only area painted was where the scratches were. The rest is covered to protect against overspray..

Sorry mate but you cannot paint a car outside,i would never let my car be painted outside,it needs to be painted in a dust free enviroment.I had a petrol cap done on a new car they came to my work to do it and they made a right mess,never again

dust particles will surely embed themselves in the paint while being applied.

Got a nasty stone chip next to the pug badge on the front, mobile repair was done on my drive, absolutley perfect.

I'm sorry but chips away suck. We've had some chips away stuff put into my place to be redone because it was so bad!

My repair wasnt done by chips away, it was done by a father & son team in Nth Lincs, they started with chips away years ago, became dissalusioned and went their own way, they have done many repairs for me over the years on different cars. My RCZ was damaged by my dealer fitting my quad exhaust, the repair done by their own body shop was awful, they have of course since put it right.
