Child/Booster Seat??

Hi gang, first post here, please be gentle! Have had my Opal White, 156 GT for about 4 months now and am using it more and more for medium-long trips with the family. I have an 11 year old son, who's very much at home in the back, but my 6 year old daughter either seems lost with no booster (just trying it out, not for road use), slides about too much in a booster seat and started falling forward when I brake when she's in a fully-backed booster as it's too upright.

Anyone found anything that's clearly more suitable/useful? Something with not too much depth seems to be the key, but I can't seem to find anything.

I LOVE my RCZ, by the way!! I went from a Cooper to it, a Audi Avant V6 Sport prior to that (I like to mix it up a bit), but it's by far the best car I've ever had (although I have find memories of my 2.0 Calibra! ;-) )

Cheers,

Ian.

I think Pug do booster seats and baby seats for the RCZ, I remember reading it in the spec/price sheets. It's at work though - I can check it tomorrow for you. Ask your dealer......

Ianvale, my advice would be to see what Peugeot recommend and then google it. they tried to sell me the romer duo plus for £340 and I got exactly the same from Halfords for £150. If you haven't tried them I would suggest you do they were very helpful.

Please let me know what you find as I will need the same in a couple of years.

Good luck

Our Britax Romer Kidfix 15 to 36 kg is ace with our 5 year old, average size, using the is fix mountings and the cars seat belt. It also was one of the best for safety when extensive tests were carried out by Which, the video they show is horrifying!
I can find the one I saw on their web page but here is a part of it from the Guaradian:

Not the usual setup, but last week I ended up taking our two youngest kids in the "cool car" (as my 3 year old calls it) and fitted the two Britax Kid seats. The kids actually love sitting in the back of the Pug because the bubble roof is like a Star Wars space fighter roof, apparently.
