When washing the car yesterday, I was giving the engine bay a tidy up and noticed that the brake fluid level looked to be very low.

There is a max level, which the fluid is a long way from. Got my OH to have a look at it and he agreed that it was very low. Has anyone else had to top up their brake fluid ? I've never had to do this on any of my other cars.

In the last few weeks I've had to top up the coolant and my oil as the levels were all showing as low.

Is their a specific product that I should get?

Thanks for any help.

Brake fluid level will dip a little as the brake pads wear down BUT not by a huge amount and usually only when they're worn almost completely away. You've not put anywhere near enough miles on yours so I suspect either you've got a leak or the reservoir wasn't filled to the max level from new.

Either way, as suggested above its a back to the garage job to get them to check everything out.
