Hi there all you RCZers I know that this has been reported on before so here's the questions....
1,Do you have the arches wrapped, if so at what cost.?
2,Do you have them spayed.. Also cost?
3,Do you buy new at what cost?
What will be the best thing to do... _20200208_171916.JPG_20200208_172134.JPG

They look a mess.

You really need to attack them hard with paint polish. Someone else on here said their detailer went hard with Ultimate Compound by Meguiars.

I've tried a few things and it does seem that polishing them as paint rather than treating them as plastic is the way to go.

Mine were painted gloss black from new by the supplying dealer and in the process they painted over the limited edition number on my car f*%#* numpty’s
But for me gloss black paint is the best way to go 👍

I polished mine with compound. They weren't that bad though. Try a light cut compound first. If that doesn't work, mix it with some heavy cut. If that doesn't work go 100% heavy cut. If the heavy leaves them rough, finish with the light cut. Treat them like paint. Finish with Aerospace 303. Mine came up like new. If that doesn't work, wrap :) Let us know how you go.

Has anyone tried painting with that plastic/vinyl paint you can buy?

Thanks for all your comments...... RCZers.
Was told that wrapped would be £80 a side due to the length of the arches... And I have seen a couple that have been done and you can still see the edges of the wrap... And when I was quoted £125 a side sprayed piano black I had to go for it.... These where sprayed off the car as to get a better finish at the edges. I removed the arches with help from a good friend as its always better with two pairs of hands 👐 and we both could not believe how easy they are to replace... Smiles 😃😄😀all round.... So all there is to say now is...

Hi
I’m about to do the same after having my wheels refurbished

My paint guy that did the wheels (power coat actually) said he can do them for me 👍
No price yet
I will remove them and take them over to him
I’m gonna remove the badges as well and have them ‘blacked’
Which is nr Lincoln if that’s anywhere nr you ??
