Hi All,

I hope you’re enjoying the weekend.

Last week I had my battery replaced. Went for a drive today and all was well.

We got back to the car, opened her up, dash lit up as expected. Then, it went black and I lost the screen, door wouldn’t lock and it wouldn’t crank. No clicking from the starter, just dead.

I popped tte bonnet just to make sure the connections hadn’t come lose after the battery swap and noticed that the terminal cover wasn’t down. I gave the little plastic clip that pulls the cable off a small tap, there was a little spark and the car lit up!!

Does that little clip have an isolator in it or is it just a tab to pull the cable off?

Sounds like just a loose connection to me

That’s exactly what it was, they’d not clipped it down properly. Bell ends!

cheers though Neil.
