Automated car wash

I don't as a rule like to use the automated car wash for obvious reasons. However in the winter it's good to wash your car regularly what with all the dirt, grime and salt etc. does anybody have any horror stories about putting their pride and joy threw one of these car washes?

Do not do it ! It's the worst thing you can do. Invest in a pressure washer or go to a local garage which has a pressure wash. Much kinder to your car.

I used to with my 207, IMO was the brand, polished once every 6 months, was fine. Not been with Z tho.

No don't!!! And if you do use a power washer DO NOT USE THE BRUSH!!! Caused damage to my car a week after I had it!

Then I used the shopping list from RCZ1 and never looked back!!

Safer...and cheaper as you won't have costly bills to have all those scratches removed! I'd just invest in a good pre wash (I favour Valet Pro's Citrus Pre Wash) or snow foam and a pressure washer if you haven't got one. This makes winter maintenance washes a dawdle and you can nip inside for a cuppa/coffee/hot chocolate while you leave them to dwell and work their magic! :D
