Thanks again for all the well wishes from everyone - such a friendly forum :)

Sorry there were no posts over the weekend, but I was getting acquainted with the new girl ;-)

Lainey, thanks for the very kind offer to re-tint if my new girl was the one you posted, but there appear to be several differences between mine and the one you and Abzynthe mentioned/posted - I have red calipers, no mudflaps, no DRL-LED's - yet(!) and no tints as mentioned - and I can't think anyone would remove those items for any reason? So, not the same unfortunately, but I still love those tints!

It was a 115 mile return trip following collection of the car, mix of motorways, A-roads, B-roads and dreaded Cambridge city driving and some full throttle explorations (all in the interest of science and understanding, and well removing the hot hatches from my posterior) and overall got home and she had managed 42mpg - i'm very impressed. Not that mpg is my main concern, but nice to know it way exceeds the petrol guzzling capabilities of my last 'fun steed' (WRX = 19mpg cruising...)

Thanks also to the welcome from Steve @ RCZ - i'm making my list, although it will be wife, sorry funds, permitting as time goes on (238bhp Race 'chip', DRL 60 LEDs from you, the repeater lenses linked by Abzynthe and if I can get there soon the tints Lainey performed on the other all black RCZ). I have the directional Xenon's so i'm assuming the DRL LED's will be fine?

Any other recommendations/common items people mod?

Hope all had a good Easter!

Stuart

It may still be the same car, often items are removed to make the car more sellable :)

I'm glad your enjoying your new "fun steed". We are having a Yorkshire Meet in a couple of weeks, with around 20+ cars attending. You are more than welcome to join us. It will be a perfect opportunity to meet with fellow enthusiasts and gain some ideas on modifications :)

There are a lot of things that can be done, and while there isnt as much as other cars, the possibilities are endless. Most of us have never seen two RCZs that are exactly the same. Either due to the options from factory, engine type or modifications.

My thread in the members gallery may give you a few more ideas. Sorry, some of the photos have been moved on my photobucket account.

Since you have the Xenon's then you will use the 92 LED DRL's (not the 60's). You can also get Brake LED's to match in red (also 92 LED's):
