Air filter at interim 10,000 mile service

Does anybody know if the airfilter is changed at the interim 10,000 mile service please?

Not a chance. Purely a kick the tyres (jactac terminology) and check fluid levels.

Cheers, thought this was the case. Just wanted to make sure they didn't steam in and remove my K&N air filter

Tell them not to - you should get a sticker with the filter that you can put on the airbox that says it is a k&n and not to replace it but to oil it instead. Most places I have been to are happy to oil your filter for you at service time rather than put a new paper filter in.

My sticker would not stick to the K&N filter or holder. Whenever I take the car in for a service I mention to the service desk that I have one and make sure they write it on the job sheet not to replace it.
