I went to look at an RCZ today, it’s the 156bhp petrol version with 72 000 miles and full service history.

My questions are

Is the 156 any good? I thought it was the 200 version until I checked the logbook

There was an engine mount bolt missing from the engine bay (see photo) which did concern me a little

Price is £4,950, worth it or should I walk away?

i have a 156 and am more that happy with it. Had 200 before and had same issues as any 1.6 prince engine, just more stuff crammed into it.
the (dirty) diesel is potentially the most reliable unit, but still has its own set of watch points. just like any car brand out there.

History and maintenance is key, as is having all the bolts where they are meant to be.
As Verminator says, put your pics up.

I am the owner of three RCZs and are all hsi and I have had no problems at all with any of them. It's down to service history and general maintenance.. Happy hunting.

I’m tipping your looking at the left side of the engine where there seems to be a threaded hole which looks like a bolt should be? Actually that’s how it should look and nothing missing 😬
I have one of the very first 156’s had it for almost 12 years now, been very reliable but it’s serviced within an inch of its life oil has never been in for longer than 3.5K miles, all the petrols are prone to the same issues any your interested in need to have a lengthy test drive and give it some too most engine faults will show under hard acceleration.
There’s a guy on RCZ UK fb group selling a 2015 GT line I’ve seen the car it’s mint low mileage for 4K!!! He’s just bought a R so needs to move the GT line on 👍
