3 weeks into RCZ ownership and I'm loving it so far! A couple of small niggles but that's inevitable with any car. Had a chance to shine it up properly now too (dealers rarely seem to be very good at this...!)

Thought I would share a few pictures of my new pride and joy :D

I've considered a few mods but will probably wait until the warranty runs out - I like the look of some of the carbon fibre skirts etc. But think it looks pretty good as it is :D also planning to get a nice shiny new exhaust trim as the one I have now is looking a bit worse for wear!

Looking very nice :)

Won't the exhaust trim polish up with a good metal polish and fine grade 0000 wire wool ?

Exactly the same as our first RCZ , we loved the colour , think still prefer the front end of the MK 1, we had Quads and chrome sports grill fitted.looks stunning and will give you and many others lots of smiles , happy motoring goes without saying .

Cheers all :) will get the exhaust shined up soon, and got a few other jobs lined up including sorting out the slightly rusty looking brake hubs, sourcing a spare wheel and getting a few imperfections in the paintwork touched up. But I'm loving it so far, it's really fun to drive, even with the 156 engine it's deceptively quick!

Have considered quads but unsure how it might affect insurance? Bearing in mind that I'm 23 so they do like to ruin my bank account as it is!

Hi Dan, your timing was pretty damn good cos I'm looking for a decent quote right now for my insurance renewal so will be in contact! Can't get the online quote thingy to work but will call when I get a chance. Any discount for forum members, by any chance?

RCZ1's metal polish suggestion turned out to be very much worthwhile - I didn't think I would be able to get through the amount of s*** on the exhaust, which I don't think was cleaned between leaving the factory and me buying the car, but some Autosol polish made it look brand new, as you can see from this pic...

Now having a bit of a play with modding ideas for the front end, which I feel could do with looking a bit angrier... shamelessly nicked the idea from this forum, particularly Abzynthe's car, but was unsure how it would work with Dolphin Blue, what do we think? (yeah, my editing is terrible, I don't have the patience to do it properly and my sausage fingers mean it's hard to get it right on my phone  )

some parking on that driveway of yours!! :D

It's alright until the parents park their Range Rover on it and I pretty much have to park in the hedge, as you can see in the first picture!

Cheers all, I think I would like to do that mod eventually, need to sort a few other things and work on getting the car into showroom condition then will look into it :)
