3rd year service?

My RCZ is coming up to 3 years old and my dealer has invited me to put it in for a service. The question is, do I need to?

Everything I can see in the service books suggests it should only need serviced every 2 years for normal conditions. I know the facelift is supposed to be serviced every year but the only apparent reason for this is no keep dealers busy.
I'll most likely take out an extended warranty so want to do things by the book, but I don't want to hand over money for an unnecessary service.

There all 1 year service intervals now even the classic original versions. And if ur gonna extend the warranty they'll expect u to service it ever year. When I bought they said the service intervals where 2 years yet a year later they'd mysteriously changed to yearly. ;) profiting me thinks.

Where does it say that the originals have been moved from every two years to one? I know that they have begun to suggest an advisory service in between. So when did advisory become compulsory and how has this been communicated ?

The letter from the dealership saying ur car is now overdue it's yearly service and failure to properly maintain ur vehicle will nul and void the warranty.

What do dealers know? They can't tell an asphalt from a road

I'm up for the 3rd year service for my '11 rcz at 33tkm. Is it a big service? I'm abroad now, so I don't have the service-book to check :)

Allready did the service at Peugeot, it was 275euro (Finland) This service also included brake-check, they basically took brakes apart and cleaned them. It was a rather small service, next bigger will be at 60tkm they said.
