What an admissionMBJ said:I am finally going to have to admit my ignorance...... What exactly is 'detailing' and will I need it when my long awaited car finally arrives?
MBJ said:Thanks Ron, I have been puzzling over detailing for the last three weeks. OMG Now I know what I will be doing for the first 3 weeks once the car finally arrives. I love it that only those with OCD also 'detail' the engine, obviously RCZ syndrome comes with some degree of OCD.
I am sure I will be detailing my little beauty.......
MBJ said:Hi RCZ1, I have now been researching local detailers and think I have identified someone to detail my precious purchase when she arrives. I have read your description of detailing from another post and I dare not take it on myself, but I may ask to watch when the experts are let loose on her. Thanks for your advice, even though I have been driving for over 35 years, I now feel like a complete novice. Cheers.
That's what I did too. Once you have seen that to maintain it is easy then you can do it. I agree what RCZ1 and others do is a step beyond my comfort zone. I will not take a rotary sander any where near my car. Okay I know they don't call it a sander, they use a poss name like a Dual Action (DA) polisher but it works like an orbital sander and would have the same effect in my hands.MBJ said:Hi RCZ1, I have now been researching local detailers and think I have identified someone to detail my precious purchase when she arrives.
