Hi Neil
It is intermittent., and I have not found a solution apart from Bsi reset which temp clears it.
it will be fine for months then all of a sudden start playing up for no obvious reason
Hi All.
I have read about the water ingress in the boot and varying problem it causes.
I have stripped the boot lock and boot switch and they are dry as a bone with no moisture whatsoever. So that doesn't seem to be the problem.
All my issues are on the drivers door. The window does not drop...
Hi
Just clear up any confusion.
They no longer make the Zed which I am sure everyone on the forum is aware, so this is the LAST RCZ model made hence LA57 RCZ.
So there you have it, hopefully it makes sense.
Only other options seem to be Rcz and random numbers which have no significance to...
Hi again.
Yep I am delighted with the car.
I will take a couple of photos of the interior, but found a picture online to be going on with.Mine is exactly the same as this.
The interior is in excellent condition but I think it just doesn't seem right for the colour scheme of the car.
Cheers
Hi
Thanks for the comments, it done 45 k and is in good condition.
I have been getting early 50`s so far.
Its got a black and tan leather interior which is unusual but the only think i am not keen on.
Bet the R is awsome to drive, and i did think of buying 1, this was a really great price...
Hi Everybody
I am back in the Zed gang once again and loving the whole RCZ experience all over again.
I bought my first Rcz in April 2014 and it was a cat D that i loving restored to its former glory. I did a 3 piece story on the restoration on this Forum "Return from the graveyard" I loved...
The rear bearings are a hub unit that just bolts on, not sure about front but would expect it to be a press in bearing.
So the rears will be quite straight forward.
Hi
I changed my pads a few weeks ago, I have a petrol GT,and there were no wear sensors fitted. I dont know if other models come with them ie RCZ R etc which may have a different brake set up.
hope that helps
hi
I think the plastic tubes you are describing are the caliper sliders of the pad carrier.
The bolts that hold the caliper on are on the inside of the hub and are 2 torx bolts.
I have uploaded a photo of an ate caliper, it might not be a Rcz one but is very similar and reasonably easy to...
Hi..
Brakes are ATE on the front and are housed in a caliper carrier, there are two retaining bolts which when removed will allow you to take off the caliper. The pads will then be accessible and can be taken out..
Refit is obviously a reverse of the above, changed mine a few weeks ago...
Hi all..
Chris (Tianorth) was kind enough to lend me the map updates he had for the Rt6, I had the 2.85 firmware which I believe makes it more difficult to get round the security put in place by Peugeot.
I did a lot of internet trawling and also spoke to the IT guys at work. I found a program...
I have peugeot planet and diagbox so telecoding the unit is quite straight forward. As for the wiring harness I would wait and have the correct one that way if you ever want to remove satnav and refit the original you can with no problems.
Hi.
I don't mind helping anyone.? If you have a unit the job can be done easily and quickly.
It depends which unit you are fitting and whether the harness needs ordering to complete the modification.
