Advised to get it done through PEUGEOT or affiliate as can then get engine from Peugeot France. ( was in touch with Peugeot UK. Probably hellishly expensive but it would be ‘official’. No idea of prices though engines not that expensive Any comments?

Thanks for this. I will contact the parts specialists you mention and try to find out if there are any 3rd party specialists in the West of Scotland. I live 3 miles from a Peugeot franchise.

My RCZ at 65k miles wouldn’t start one morning and I was told by AA that timing belt was gone. Told by local garage to scrap it though it has perfect body work, FSH, garaged etc. They are not specialists. Specialist garage can change it to 2nd hand engine but I would prefer new engine...
