OK Thanks. Yes I had a USB and a SD card (only music) connected while factory reset. By updating the maps ans POI I only use a full formated USB or SD as discribe on page 1. I will try a new factory reset without both.

You have this option in the hidden menu (1+2+3). The adressbook is saved on the hdd. I don't use a smartphone in my car because I use the integrated SIM card in the armrest.

Wow that's a crazy method. Is it not possible to reset the BSI by remove some fuse or something else? What is really happen by reseting? I mean I pay for some BSI tuning (230 HP). Are these data safe?

Thanks NF7, I reset the Wipcom only yesterday. I had to change a ignition coil first. It was more important. So I'll look at the system the next days and I hope it will stay steady. Do you have an idea when the 2022 maps are coming?

@AlexDee Thanks for your quick answer. I'll try to reset the complete system tomorrow and maybe reinstall the 42c FW. Maybe I also go back to the old maps (2015 not 2016 as I write above) and wait for the 2022 version.
