Sticky situation :-(

The badly designed cup holder is too shallow and with no way to adjust the size of a can or cup, plus why is there not one for a passenger? It's fine for a coke an but red bull just slides about and falls over.
My mates Kia is a 7 seater and has a staggering 14 cup holders

Anyways....driving today early hours so needed a red bull to wake me up, suddenly had to hit the brakes and whoosh red bull everywhere  I pulled over to clean up as best I could but some of got into the spoiler button and now te button is all sticky. Coming home the spoiler was up and I couldn't even put it down as the button was stuck.

There appears to be a piece of plastic trim surrounding both the spoiler button and lighter socket, so does anyone know how I could pop this off to clean it or if this is even possible?

I've had similar issues with the cup holder had to resort to using the centre armrest compartment.

Previously when disconnecting a (tight fit) charger from the lighter socket the entire plastic panel has popped out but it clipped back in quite easily. Certainly on mine doesn't appear difficult to remove.

Sorted now :) I managed to spray it with some warm soapy water which has done the trick.
