The STOP warning light came on the dash on the way home from meeting mates today.

I did an oil and filter change on it yesterday and I suspect it's due to over-filling the oil and getting too much oil pressure.
Is this a likely cause?
After it cooled down a bit The STOP light went out when I turned the key.
I'll drain a little bit tomorrow and see.

Indeed, a big relief especially as I did an oil and filter change on it the day before. I've always preferred classics and the more analogue a car the better.
This is the newest car I've ever owned, I didn't even realise it had TPMS.

Only put the correct amount of oil in these Princes as overfill causes all sorts of issues & in modern engines leaving it to burn off is a death sentence especially direct injection engines in fact too much oil pressure can be known to blow an oil seal at least you know what went wrong I had to sort out a woman's car after she put 5ltres in the engine !

I stuck a hose down the dipstick tube and sucked some oil back out using a Lidl 12V oil pump.
Is it just me or is the dipstick very hard to read - another new but worse design.

STOP 😱😲 light was nothing to do with oil level though and was due to underinflated tyres on one side.
