TPMS issue - suggestions anyone?

I have been having issues with a non-existent puncture which I assumed was due to a faulty sensor.

Since getting new tyres two years ago I regularly got a "tyre pressure not monitored" message, especially after I hit a bump or pothole.

This progressed to regular "tyre punctured" messages, predominantly but not exclusively from the Front LH side. The tyre pressures are fine and regularly checked.

I presumed that the sensor was faulty and was waiting until I needed new tyres to replace the sensor. Unfortunately Kwikfit cocked up and did not replace the sensor, although they did run a subsequent test and assured me that all the sensors are fine and have working batteries. They reset the error and I got all the way home before the error reappeared. I have since had the error cleared again with the same result., got home fine, next day error appears on starting the car.

Apart from being annoying this is an MOT fail in waiting so I now need to get this properly addressed. I could just bite the bullet and get the relevant sensor fitted, but could the problem lie elsewhere?

Has anyone else had a similar issue?

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Have new tpms fitted but I have heard that they have taken them out and put normal valves in...

My car, 2011 Asphalt, predates the mandatory tpms so taking them out might be an option. I believe the MOT only requires them to work if they are fitted. I could certainly live without the darn things!

Anyone know if they can be deleted from the software?

One of mine was giving a phantom deflated reading. Took it to my local tyre guru who recalibrated them. Been fine since...

When you take them out they don't register and no light comes up to say flat tyre... As I have done this on my wife's RCZ..

I think mine is supposed to have come with them. Thankfully the original owner binned them before I got the chance
