    "ENGINE FAULT REPAIR NEEDED"

I wouldn't say the HPFP is a cheap repair unless you buy a reconditioned pump from Ebay and fit it yourself. Perhaps repairs like this are cheaper in Slovenia? Cheers. Bruce.

Intermittent Rail P0087 Fuel Rail/System Pressure Too Low - Fixed

Peugeot are bringing the price down below the £600 figure commonly quoted but £300 labour is a bit steep. If I can replace it in two to three hours then I'm sure they can probably do the job in an hour and a half. It's one of those jobs that once you've done it is a lot easier the second time...

    Peugeot Service Help

I always think of batteries as 'consumables' similar to tyres and brakes. You know that they will give up at some stage but the new battery you replace it with will last many years. When they start to play up I replace them rather than suffer their unreliability. I took a battery to the local...

    Battery Removal

Sorry, I know this won't help much in you getting the battery out but I just wanted to say it is quite difficult and frustrating that Peugeot made it so awkward a task. Do they do it deliberately so people don't do these jobs themselves? Or maybe there are so many electronics around it that it...

    Tyre pump missing ?

I wonder if your car would have passed the MOT if the pump unit had been removed from the car beforehand. It's probably a case that if it is there and 'faulty' then it's a failure. But I don't think you have to have any spare wheel, pump, or sealant. Cheers. Bruce.

    My Australian RCZ

I got rid of my RCZ as it was constantly coming up with EMLs. The jacking points are awful, not fit for purpose. They were intact when I got the car and I used the jacking aids to keep them that way. However, Peugeot replaced two tyres on the MOT and trashed them. They then tried to deny it...

Is this a mod that you would need to tell your insurance company about?

    MOT Mileage Record

I haven't asked the owner yet. I'm going to see the car later this afternoon. The car is 2009 model so mileage is really low whether it's 51k or 56k. Cheers. Bruce.

    MOT Mileage Record

Sorry, not RCZ related but I'm going to look at a Fiat Panda 100HP today and I have a slight concern about the mileage. It has 51k approx on the clock but when I've checked the MOT history online it shows 56k. The seller seems a genuine sort of guy and I don't think he would clock it to take...

    wheel spacers

They don't need to prove anything. They will just invalidate your claim for modifying your vehicle and not declaring the modification.

    wheel spacers

That approach won't work! They will not accept ignorance as an excuse.

1.6 156 Fan constantly running - help please

If the thermostat is stuck open would you not just replace the thermostat housing? Why would you change the thermostat coolant tank? Is this the radiator header tank? Cheers. Bruce.

Engine Oil Pressure fault - warning light - car has just been serviced

The obvious thing might be that they did not put enough oil in when they serviced it. Have you checked the dipstick? Cheers. Bruce.
