    Reliability of Peugeot RCZ

Four and a half years, 60,000 kilometers, trouble free. A couple of 'software' issues when in its new days, but close to perfect since then.

    HAPPY XMAS TO ABSENT FRIENDS

And merry Xmas and a happy new year to you from little ol' down under in Oz. Been a while since I visited, my rcz is still going like a dream. I even had a grand theft auto 5 moment the other when parked in the city. That is, a teenage girl possible a tourist to be city) started taking...

    New 200GT-Do they get softer!

At almost 20,000 klms, I can say, No, it will not soften. It would seem though that you guys in the UK must have some pretty bad roads. Here in Oz, I occasionaly get reminded how tough the rear suspension can be, when I (rarely) hit some kind of divet/pot hole. But I have to say that 99% of...

    Cool gadget

Okay Peter, I didn't know that (maybe) the Sat Nav doesn't support BT streaming. I was referring to the non-Satnav head unit. It works for me. Are you able to BT your phone for calls? If you can, then it should simply be a matter of selecting the correct source input for streaming. But I'm...

    Cool gadget

Streaming from the iPhone via bluetooth is 100% possible, done it myself. But for music, I don't like it. It has latency and timing drift issues. Some peoples' ears wont pick it up, I do. It also lacks the full audio bandwidth. BT for music is only for ad hoc playback, not recommended for...

    Wow !!

Thanks mizzle, yes I was serious. For many reasons, I recommend you don't open any non-introduced video, you just don't know what you might be getting. I appreciate you have described it for me now, so I might view it. ;)

    Celebrity driving an RCZ.

I'm into music, not circuses (whoops, I mean sport) :) Wouldn't know a tennis player from a footballer. Don't care for any of them. ;)

    Celebrity driving an RCZ.

When you said Celebrity, i thought you meant a Celebrity. Who the hell is this guy. And why haven't they choosen a woman? But really, I thought you meant, a celeb had bought an RCZ of their own choice and was snapped driving it around. This guy is just some staged thing, and he gets handed a...

My car displayed 39 degrees C when I got in before lunch today ;) Love that air con set down to (+)18 degrees :)

    Small scratch on alloy

I'm with Ron on this advice. I'll come in very wide on a kerb when parking, then use my dipping mirrors to reverse back to the minimum gap (8 inches is good :) ) then I can straighten the nose, using the orientation setup while reversing. I've used this technique whenever there is doubt, the...

Max speed - at 5-th or 6-th gear?

Nice clip, I like the sound as well. I made the post above, then checked your clip. I see what you're saying in that first rise to +6500. And as I mention above, I simply think there is nothing more to give. The tacho has that margin for a slight overflow, and maybe the electronics do some...

Max speed - at 5-th or 6-th gear?

:) I reckon this shows hitting 6800. The 'limiter' being, "there's just no more to give Jimmy" :) maybe downhill with a tail wind, and low air pressure, you could squeeze out the last 200 rpm. I'd even reckon the clip shows a '6850' at one stage... but that's me being optimistic :) Enjoy the...

Max speed - at 5-th or 6-th gear?

Nah, not broken. Maybe the test car you had was restricted. I'm telling you, there is no rev limiter. Nothing much can be added to that. :) I'm also too busy partying for the weekend to look up ut clips. But there are dozens of them. Many show the tacho going to 6500 rpm, and the clip that...
