How To Update The RT6 System - Guide

It might be worth also removing the links to gpsunderground in the 1st post, or at least mentioning that (sadly) this site no longer exists.

    PugFest Prescott 2021

Really sorry we missed it (my wife was very unwell and all our travel plans - including a few days in the Lake District with the MX-5 OC just before PugFest - went out the window). Hopefully we can make it next year.

RCZ R - can any Peugeot dealer service it?

I didn't buy the car - my wife did. The RCZ R, good and all as it is, wouldn't have been my personal choice. And yes, she bought it on impulse because she liked the look of it (whereas I tend to do lots of research before buying cars). But it's her money, and it's up to her how she spends it.

    I give up! Enlighten us.

    Black arch (re)colouring

Funnily enough, my wife used the same product (Autoglym Bumper & Trim Gel) yesterday on the roof arches on her car and it made a huge difference. Had to do 2 or 3 applications for the best result, and I'll be interested to see how long it lasts. If you have had yours for "some years", make sure...

RCZ R - can any Peugeot dealer service it?

Unless you think that £0 is "very rich", you really are deluded. No franchised dealer would last any time in business if they did any of those things . Not only would they see their reputation in tatters, and lose their franchise, but they would also be subject to prosecution. I bought a...

RCZ R - can any Peugeot dealer service it?

I'm really not sure what point you're trying to make here. Your initial point about buying a car from a (presumably non-franchised) retailer and finding out that it hadn't been correctly serviced seems to support my choice not to touch a car without a full main-dealer service history. As a...

RCZ R - can any Peugeot dealer service it?

Perhaps that says more about you than about the dealerships involved. It has certainly not been my experience. Doubtless there are competent independents out there, but even they will not have access to the latest factory service information, diagnostics, tooling, consumables, parts, training...

RCZ R - can any Peugeot dealer service it?

I'm no under any illusion that main dealers are perfect, but, as I mentioned, I have all my cars serviced by main dealers and have had plenty of experience of Porsche, BMW, Lexus, Mazda, Toyota and Skoda (but not yet Peugeot) dealers. I've not had any particularly bad experiences with any of...

RCZ R - can any Peugeot dealer service it?

Thanks, but I want to keep it in the Peugeot dealer network. The car has only done 15k miles, and is covered under Peugeot warranty. (As an aside, all of my cars are main dealer maintained. I personally would never buy any second-hand car which had been serviced outside a main dealer network.)

RCZ R - can any Peugeot dealer service it?

We're trying to decide where best to get my wife's new-to-her RCZ R serviced when it's due. Can any Peugeot dealership service an RCZ R, or are there any who specialise in the R models? Any recommendations for Peugeot dealerships in the Hampshire area with expertise in RCZ R servicing? We're in...

How To Update The RT6 System - Guide

At the end of the de-activation, are you sure that DRM=0? If DRM is 1, then it will ask for an activation code. BTW, the "maps database" that you're seeing is what is installed in the car currently. Once you press "Update" (after de-activating) you will get the list of updated maps on your...

    Missing bolt

I think that bolt hole might be used to help lift the engine out when it needs to be removed. I don't think there would normally be anything in it.

I haven't posted here for ages.... More fool me!

Many thanks - ticket now purchased with "RCZ UK" as the group. We'll both be coming, so hopefully will get a chance to meet some of you.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but my wife is talking about going to PugFest in her new-to-her RCZ R, so we'd also be very interested in parking alongside (and meeting...) other RCZ owners.
