    Lambo doors or not

My RCZ is my 2nd car and my 1st is a heavily modified Smart Roadster. The 1st mod I carried out was fitting Lambo door hinges in 2005. They were specifically made for that model, came from a German company LSD and cost c£900 - in 2005! But the quality is outstanding. I have spoken to a lot of...

After 6 months lurking - finally got one

I forgot - whilst I am 95% certain I have an NG4 option how can I confirm this - preferably without dismantling said dashboard

After 6 months lurking - finally got one

Funny you should say that - I am considered very tech savvy. I am often the go-to guy for installing speakers, HUs and other toys ( I have managed some pretty neat mods on my smart roadster, which was once reckoned to be the most modded in the UK) Is the SatNav headunit on the 308 exactly the...

    Rear spoiler

I'm a newbie and we are known for doing weird things like reading the handbook..... My understanding is there are two rasied positions for the spoiler -50mph and 95mph? So would someone in Germany carrying out this test at at 153 kph be able to see the spoiler in it fully elevated position?

    Fan staying on

As a new owner moving to Rotherham I am anxious to know which garages worked on your car - their track record doesn't sound impressive. Castleford might be a bit of of a trek....

    Rear spoiler

I know nothing of RCZs but as an electronics engineer I can make a couple of logical suggestions. Is there more than one fuse for the overall active spoiler system? (Particularly on the 'control' side) I am assuming that you can raise/lower the spoiler manually at any speed you wish? If so...

After 6 months lurking - finally got one

Finally managed to track down a decent example which was close to the spec I wanted Had it a week and generally very pleased with it, and had a couple of nice surprises such as discovering the car has xenons (which I believe means they are directional) and a low tyre pressure warning so I must...

    What is your other drive?

This is my baby - but apparently I have to get a 'grown up' car as well..... Really looking forward to an RCZ but just as I think I am ready to close deal I do more research and add to my wish list

    constant issue

I am a wannabe newbie but have may years experience on Smart forums and might just have another angle for you. Smart electrical issues were often resolved by upgrading the earth strap(s) as the originals were definitely bought to a budget - a relatively low cost option to consider

Wannabe Newbie has a curious question

I am hell bent on getting an RCZ but I have a particular specification in mind....(tbh I'm being a little anal about it!) Consequently I am getting a little frustrated as the vast majority of RCZs I am viewing don't tick all my boxes - and absolutely top of the list is SATNAV However the...
