You definitely have a leather dash not synthetic. Best way would involve a retrimmer so he can re stretch & bond, also will need to remove windscreen before he does it. (Cheapest way) otherwise a days work removing & refitting dash.
If fuel pump is starting to fail will also poss cause lean mixture, when pump pressure starts dropping. Need to do a monitoring test with running on OBD socket to see if fuel pressure is the fault.
Yes I hunk you find that it’s programmed into most manufacturer, Coz compressor takes about 5-10 horse power to run. So when you put foot flat down you get all your horses not minus any horses due to compressor taking any so when you ask for full throttle that’s what ya get ;)
I know Fords...
More like timing chain at end of life & unable to adapt timing any more. Chain/tensioner worn out,so it puts correlation code in.
Does it rattle on start up ?
That does look bad ! Only thing is when you start using an engine flush it can quite easily block oil pick up strainer & starve engine of oil. I would have removed sump in 1st instance & cleaned that out before I tried anything else.
Hope you got on ok with sorting your engine out ? My car...
I would replace thermostat housing as
1) possible thermostat getting stuck sometimes.
2) also where cooling fans running?
I wouldn’t keep driving it know I have a chance of car overheating without doing anything about it. Would easily damage engine.
I would change the thermostat housing...
Hi have you a 200 THP ? If so normal to rattle for a bit as they have a lot of moving parts in cylinder heads ! X2 variable cams in 200.
compared to 1 variable cam on 156.
