Driving home after work the car threw up another engine warning light. Pulled over and plugged in the trusty OBD reader which I've used far too much recently. Code was P0015 ("B" Camshaft Position - Timing Over-Retarded Bank 1). After some roadside googling I concluded that there was a high...
So chain kit, sprockets, guide, tensioner replaced at a cost of £530, the engine does seem quieter but a similar noise is still present, see video below.

Maybe I jumped the gun getting it changed but hopefully it's peace of mind that the achilles heel of these...
I had this same issue a few weeks ago, sods law I had just started a driving route in Wales at 07:30 and the issue happened at 07:40!!! The engine fault light came on and the car started juddering, pulled over and used the ODB reader to diagnose it was ignition coil 3. I called Greenflag for the...

Two months into ownership I've had the car break down requiring new ignition coils, clutch squeal and now I'm getting concerned with the noise on start up, knowing that these engines can suffer from the dreaded.... death rattle. I've taken a video clip below, if anyone could give an opinion if...
I keep hoping mine will disappear but no such luck yet. Not sure if leaving it will cause any bigger issues but it's the kind of issue I can generally live with.
