    Additiinal RCZ key fob

It's a bit cheeky of the dealers giving you an unpaired key (i'm assuming it hasn't got a transponder inside) as it's basically pointless. You won't be able to pair a simple key to the car as it hasn't got any electronics to communicate with the immobiliser module. Peugeot will sell you a new...

    Rcz wont start after accident

I kept looking for the illusive fuel cut off or inertial switch and i could never find it. Nor is it listed on any of the circuit diagrams. Any check engine lights on? If so worth getting a cheap ODB2 scanner to give you some clues. Wonder if the knock sensors be activated from an accident?

Engine Fan staying on and draining the battery ( faulty sensor)

So if you're referring to the temperature sensor, that's located on top of the thermostat, which is mounted on the right side of the engine (as you're looking into the engine bay). It's the one with the green top and is held in place with a clip. Be prepared for some coolant to leak out when...

Engine Fan staying on and draining the battery ( faulty sensor)

What sensor are you referring to? On mine the temperature sensor was dodgy and spiking in resistance and giving a high temperature alarm and triggering the fan on full speed.

Cut out and will not start

Hi mate As mentioned, above the RCZ has an in tank low pressure fuel pump with an integrated fuel level sensor. Check the fuel pump fuse, which should be a 30A one (F10 fuse in the engine bay). If it's gone, it's most likely your fuel pump motor is blown. That fuse also supplies the ECU so you...

White smoke when car warms up - blown turbo or valve seals??

I really hope it isn't the piston rings as that will be one hell of a job. I would have thought that worn cylinder rings would cause the car to smoke all the time rather than once car is warm. But certainly need to do some more troubleshooting

White smoke when car warms up - blown turbo or valve seals??

Hi everyone I bought a RCZ 156 a few months back as a project car. For a bit of context, car initially refused to start and on top had a few other error codes. In the end managed to locate the problem with the in tank fuel sender unit. FYI the resistance of the broken pump was ~0.4Ohms and a...

    New RCZ 156 owner

Hello Been lurking in the background reading over various posts and thought it's time I said hello. I (not so recently) bought a 2010 RCZ 156 as a project car. Got it pretty cheap as it didn't start and am currently working my way thru the problems. Current work list: Main issues: -replace...

New RCZ owner, have I just found my next money pit?

Worth investing in a Diagbox kit (should find one on Ebay) if you want to fix it yourself. It's a bit of a pain to set it up initially, but it's been very useful to me so far (also a new owner of a RCZ that refuses to start!). I also got the wiring diagrams for the car and after many weeks of...
