Who uses RCZ as a daily?

Give it another few months. These cars are good looking but extremely unreliable. Too delicate for every day use

Mystery oil leak - cause found but more bad news!

So with just weeks of ownership of my RCZ 2011, it's been on tow trucks , mechanics than me actually driving it. Lol. So week ago I noticed mysterious oil puddles after changing timing chain. And after 2-3 towing the car from garage to garage , one guy identified that it's some old oil being...

Who uses RCZ as a daily?

Well said my mate. I had over 20 cars in my life and nothing more unreliable like a RCZ. I really regret my purchase and my advice to others who are planning to get one is that unless you really are in love with the design element and willing to spend $300 per month for repairs in average, then...

Newbie needs desperate advice. Mystery leak

Update - sent back to the mechanic today and he says that rocker cover, tensioner is dry (all areas they laid hands on when they did the timing belt chain). And now they say the leak is seen at front of the engine, probably under heat exchange or turbo area. i didnt see such a huge spill before...

Newbie needs desperate advice. Mystery leak

I did ring them, and then said oh probably it was there from beginning. Lol. There are puddles of oil everywhere I park this. I'm worried if USA will try to bring democracy after seeing all this heaps of oil

Newbie needs desperate advice. Mystery leak

Yes sending it back today. For sure they will tell me something new and try to charge for it. Many of the Aussie mechanics thinks that owners doesn't know shit about engines or motor mechanics. They use terms like "ah mate motor is faaarked" or shitty breakes. And then the Aussie consumer ends...

Who uses RCZ as a daily?

I had it for few weeks, and for the amounts of tiny and major issues I faced, I feel it's not a reliable daily runner

Newbie needs desperate advice. Mystery leak

I am a newbie in rcz which is a petrol 1.6 of 2011 Auto. Few days ago I replaced my timing chain as well as a oil change (service ) Saturday I noticed a "puddle" of oil on the floor and today morning I noticed another big puddle. The dash says oil level is correct but Im sure it's not...
