Window regulator fix before replacement...

Hello all,

I'm trying to get to the bottom of a driver's side window fault. I can hear the motor operate (power on) when switch for window is used but window doesn't lower or raise. Anti pinch also not working.

I have sourced a second hand replacement mech and motor for an eye watering £150 second hand but if there is anything to try first I'd love to know...I'd happily donate £50 to charity for successful advice...

I'm not that mechanically minded but love my RCZ and would love the advice!

Have you had the door card off to see what's occurring? It's an easy enough job.

I replaced a mechanism on one of my 407s, and that was not an easy job.
