Hello All, Following a service early this year, my car developed a stutter/ hesitate during acceleration, as I drive slowly it wasnt a big issue but still an annoyance. I checked all pipes, plugs etc everything ok. Then I remembered that many moons ago I had the same issue after putting Bosch sparkplugs in an RS1600i Escort. Based on this I decided to reinstall an old set of NGK plugs, this tranformed the car to the way it was before with no stutter/ hesitation. I hope this helps someone.
