Hi guys,
Really hoping someone can help I'm a bit stuck.

My spoiler is stuck up and won't come down. I tried using the manual wind under the boot but it still wouldn't come down.

I took the motor off and checked it over but it turns just fine on its own. I suspect it's the actual mechanism but I'm not sure where to go next.

Why help would be really appreciated
Thanks.

Some times they stick and need to get some lubrication spray and leave it to soak in...
Is the button inside the car light up when you press it if not it's down to one of the fuses under the fuse box as other RCZers have had the same problem..
Hope this helps you out

Hi, I managed to get it sorted in the end. So I thought I'd share my fix because I haven't seen it talked about. The "cables" that connect the motor to the wing itself are inside a metal tube with a plastic sheath around them. It looks like as the cars are starting to age that plastic is falling apart and binding the whole thing up.

What I did was take the whole thing apart and managed to remove enough of the plastic to get it moving again. I've then put it all back together with a healthy coat of grease.

Hope this can help someone.
