Servicing

Does anyone know the service intervals for the RCZ? Wondering if buying a service pack from the dealer is a good buy or not?

Hi G

Is this what you are referring to?

http://www.peugeot.co.uk/service-suppor ... t-optiway/

It doesn't say that it includes tyres though and there isn't a price for a RCZ on the list.

I've just had the 1000 mile check - that's all it is as well, then my next service is 20,000 miles or 2 years.

Is the 1000 mile check a free one or did you have to pay for this?

Thanks for that!

When I ordered my RCZ I enquired about a 3 year service plan and was quoted £435 thinking that this would cover 3 yearly services, as was the case with my previous car. However, if it will only have one service in 3 years (I am unlikely to do 40,000 in 3 years) then this seems a lot for just one service! Any thoughts?

I never bother with them to be honest, you have a 3 year warranty and as you say the chances of doing 40,000 miles in three years are pretty slim, as a private user that is.

Not sure what the 20,000 service costs are, can't see them being more the £300 more likely to be around the £250 mark so your £435 service charge is a bit expensive.

Hi RCZ1
Soz on the delay. The service bit I have is via the company who does all my company cars for me, I believe its a deal he sorts out within his own group which does include tyres, wipers, and the engine servicing.

Can find more details if you want, pls let me know. :greetings-wavingblue:

Thanks for the office Ironman but don't put yourself to any trouble. Having thought about it, having only one service in the three years that I will own the car - I don't think I'll bother.

I'd rather just put the money aside each month and use it for things as they crop up.

Thanks anyway.

The price depends on your estimated mileage. As I only do low mileage, it doesn't include many services and there really wasn't much saving...other than protection against oil price rises...which is what the salesman kept repreating because he says they're going to go up because of the BP/Mexican Gulf disaster.

Every two years with low mileage or 20,000 miles - it's in the service book, your Peugeot dealer should know better.

I was told after 2 years, but mine will be free thanks to Peugoet's way to say sorry for my delays in delivery. Ordered 27 May, estimated delivery end of September.

Sorry to bring up such an old thread but wanted some advice on servicing.
I have been offered a service package to cover my RCZ for 3 services over 3 years starting at 10,000 miles assuming I do 10,000 miles per annum.
Cost £446.25 lump sum or paid dd monthly.
The dealership said I would need a service every 10,000 miles.
I know the warranty book stipulates every two years or 20,000 so are they talking about a minor service at 10k, major service at 20k and minor service at 30k?

Is it a good idea to have service every 10k miles and is this a good deal?

sounds good, i prefer oil and filter change every 10,000 with main service at 20,000-my oil and filter change was about £80,
so it will probably cost about the same as.
