RCZ THP200 transmission oil change.

I put total 75/80 in mine (200)when it eventually turned up from Autodoc

I’ve ordered Red Line 75-80 GL4 pretty expensive but hopefully worth it.

I don’t in a single thing about gearbox oil. I’d normally just leave it to the mechanic but I saw Pedro mentioned the total stuff so I got that. All gear oil seems to be quite expensive. I think I take just over 2litres and they helpfully sell the total one in 1.5 litre bottles

Thanks yes it’s really expensive but one thing I’ve learned to my cost in the past is don’t scrimp on oil and fluids, £100 well spent saves on thousands in repairs later down the line 🥹
Yep Pedro has been so helpful on many things and it’s nice to find a forum user local to me

Can anyone confirm which gearbox oil for RCZ THP 156 is it 75/80 GL4 or 75/ 90. GL4?
Sorry to raise an old thread I’ve searched loads of threads but can’t find recommended gearbox oil (manual transmission) for the RCZ THP 156 most replies seem to be about the 200. I want to put in

RED LINE Synthetic Manual Transmission Lubricant MTL 75W-80 GL4​

Is that compatible with the 156?

Redline is the best. I use Redline MT-90

Recently had a transmission leak. Thought at first it was the drive seals, but turned out to be a faulty transmission filler plug. Realaced it and all is well. Finding the part was a long process. Got it from these guys.
