My 2015 low mileage car which I have recently purchased, has a cold starting issue, whereby it will fire properly, but then immediately cut out, but then fire up and run perfectly when tried again.
I`m thinking some kind of temp sensor issue that will hopefully be inexpensive and easy to sort out ??

Think 🤔 it's a drain on the battery check the battery out as if it's not being run for a while due to the lock down might need to give it a good run or put it on charge when not in use this might help out

May be a glow plug issue but as Les pointed out check the Battery if you or someone you know has a tester check for cranking amps ie the actual voltage in the battery I could be wrong but doubt its temp issue otherwise you would be struggling to get it going at all maybe a dose of Redex (diesel) in the tank may help to clear any crap in the injectors

Thanks for the suggestions and apologies for the delay in responding ! The battery was removed ( what a faff ! ) and charged and found to be not taking a full charge and subsequently not holding the level of charge it was taking ( although it did appear to be the original and not bad for 6 years I suppose )
Anyway, new battery fitted and all seems good thus far !
