Hi all, sad to say I came out this morning and when my wife put the window down on the passenger side, well..it didn't actually go down. Much strange noise and it seems the regulator has went, same as my old bucket of an Audi did.

Does anyone have a guide anywhere in how to change one out? I look at my lovely door panel and don't want to start attacking it without at least half a clue unless I damage her!

Many thanks.

A similar fault has been reported on here that turned out to be water ingress in the boot lock. This has been known to throw up all kinds of weird & wonderful electrical faults.

A failing battery has also caused seemingly random issues.

Wow, thanks for that. Modern electronics are wonderful I guess. It's making the same clicking noise when you press the button that my old audi did when the regulator went, hence my thought process.

There is always the chance that it could be the same problem you had with your Audi of course 🤔 But I haven’t seen that particular fault reported on the forum.

Odd one then, I'll figure out the door panel removal and go from there. Thanks👍
