Hello there.

I have a Peugeot RCZ from 2010.
The radio is RNEG with the numbers 96661984XT.
Navigation is an LCD screen controlled from the radio.

1. When I set the time on the navigation, the clock does not respond. The clock gets voltage because it is backlit. I check and uncheck the GPS option and still nothing. I even bought another clock and still the same.

2. The Bluetooth module is connected to the radio. USB and AUX cables come out of the Bluetooth module and are located in the armrest. There is no voltage on USB and AUX. The bluetooth module works and I can talk.

3. When turning the radio knob and thus reducing/increasing the brightness of the multifunction screen, nothing happens.

Any suggestions on how to solve the problem?

A 2010 car should have NG4 equipment and not RNEG.

Did someone change it?

Then, unfortunately, someone cheated on me when buying a car.
If I buy a 96738873XN radio, will I connect it to the 96650242ZD navigation system (I currently have one)?

I asked a person who has access to car equipment by the VIN number. After checking my RCZ, it turned out that it originally had an RD4 radio and was not equipped with navigation. So someone could have done a remake. I still need to connect via OBD2 because from time to time I receive a message that engine repair is necessary. Could this be related to the navigation conversion?

I ordered a "new" used RNEG radio. I will let you know for posterity whether this solves the problems with the clock and navigation display brightness. Or maybe it's some cable harness?

Do you buy another radio just like the one that only works partially ?

The problem when installing different equipment than the original one on the car when it left the factory is that the car does not have the proper wiring and the proper programming of the control units and the result is that it only works partially, which is what happens to you.

I ordered the same used radio from a local car parts market (Poland). Tomorrow I will install them and see if it changes anything. I have an electronics friend who will enter the VIN of my RCZ into the radio - otherwise the radio will beep. If this doesn't change anything, I will ask my friend if he will be able to fix the "glitches". What happened to me is very frustrating. I've had the car for a dozen or so days... Unfortunately, I bought it with my heart, not my mind. The seller does not answer the phone.

While driving I feel the car clipping. Probably problems with the fuel pump. Tomorrow I will connect ODB2.

I also plan to replace the entire timing belt, oil and filters. I recently bought TYC lamps - they work great. In the earlier ones, the computer would get lost - it would turn on one, then the other, etc.

I'll be back with feedback.

1. After connecting a new used RNEG radio, the analog clock still does not change the time.
2. An additional option with car statistics appeared on the new radio - the same as on the dashboard. I don't have such information on the old radio. Can this be set with some program?
3. Can such options be activated, for example, by the Lexia program?
4. Can the Lexia program activate an analog clock?
5. I checked the power supply on the analog clock cube with a glowing limit switch. Only one pin is lit (I'm guessing the pin responsible for the clock's backlight). Can anyone check which pins light up?

Does anyone know which wires in the RNEG plug are from the analog clock?

Does anyone know which wires in the RNEG plug are from the analog clock?
These wires do not exist, in modern cars the devices are connected to a common data transmission network called Can Bus.

I would like to go back to RD4. I found a radio and a small display. But will the current cabling for RNEG fit? If not, where to find them? Or how to change the cables on the connector connecting to the radio?

Now, I bought 96660458XN RD4 radio with MP3 and 9803399680 "small" display. I hope everything will return to normal.

Where can I find the radio cable harness in the dashboard? I don't know which plastics I should open in the car and get to

I installed the RD4 radio and connected the display to the 12pin connector. The display does not turn on and the radio works. How many cables should there be in the 12pin connector to the display? I only have 3 cables.
