Hi there,

I once found a thread about the Engine cover covered in oil, especially noticeably around the spark plug wells.

So it happeneds to me too, but now I couldn't find the tread anymore.

I remember someone last said it has something to do with the pcv valve?

Is that something I can check / fix myself without crawling underneath the car?

Any pointers appreciated. Not familar with THP engines so couldn't quite find the search terms to get more info.

Cheers!

See GOATZ threads regarding engine oil contamination The pcv valve is very plausible as they can cause oil leaks & if left unchecked sludge build up & high fuel consumption is another symptom
You can change it yourself if your handy on the spanners ...
