oil level incorrect Top up engine oil

Unfortunately if it’s the sensor, changing the oil will not solve your problem. Changing the oil (& filter) will do your engine the world of good though.
If you still have the low oil warning after the oil change, you will probably need the sensor replacing.

I don't have an issue at all with the dip stick.
Pull the dip stick out. Clean it. Reinsert it and remove again. Quickly place end of dip stick on cloth. Oil should be under the second silver marker.

Prince engine takes 4.25 litres of oil - no more!

My engine uses about 400 mill of oil for every 5000 kilometres.

Turns out my oil was almost empty. What’s worrying is I had separate mechanics to check it on my behalf (I didn’t trust my own judgement) they both told me the oil levels were fine! Which is what made me think it was a sensor fault!
That shows how hard that stupid dip stick is to read!!!!
