Cat S Peugeot RCZ R @ copart.
I remember this from the FB group. Think it was for sale for about £10k. A lady bought it & not long after had a head gasket issue I think. The front brakes were due at the time. Failed MOT last year's with various issues but last MOT in Jan was clean. Be interesting to see how much it'll go for. It would have to be cheap to be worth it.

It would need to be cheap to make it worth putting it back on the road. It looks like it needs a lot of work.

When you hear it's had engine issues before, and the engine bay looks untidy with the wrong parts, it sounds like a big risk.

Only 2 available on auto trader, the R’s seem to be selling again, is one of those Clarets?

Down to 4 R’s for sale on auto trader, they seem to be selling then
A good R will always sell, my experience through selling on a major platform has been a nightmare, a combination of dreamers, test pilots and chancers.
My car sold to a very very nice gentleman from the south who turned out to be a real car enthusiast who did not care to haggle when he saw the car.

I will definitely be back, but I am soo sad that a lot of people under value this great car and also rubbish the marque to try and get into one cheaply, some of the comments on the FB group from ex owners are simply unbelievable, I left the group for that reason.

Meanwhile I will stay on here and enjoy the enthusiasm from you great people who love the Z.
Meanwhile under the radar unbeknown to my wonderful wife, I have a certain spec in mind when the time comes.

The R market has been quiet for a while. A couple have come up recently.

There is a dealer selling a 2015 one owner car for £9890.

It passed an MOT yesterday with 65,000 miles without advisory. The front discs look too worn to me not to be flagged as an advisory.

The R going forward is going to appreciate regardless of a small thing like disc, there is a market for these cars now amongst collectors for a good one, fact is there won’t be enough to go around to meet demand in the coming years.
Mine went to a collector who has kept in touch.

Lock up your R now guys if you have a good one.

A low mileage one has come up today.

Long-term they will go up in value. Like the rest of the car market the prices are currently on a downward trend.

It looks like the car priced at £9890 has sold.

Looks a nice example, black my least favourite for the R though, I have a certain one in mind when I come back next year.

Not going to lock my R up just yet, I’m still enjoying it too much, the low mileage example for sale looks good but pictures not doing it any favours, someone clearly has more important things, if I was in the market i would want to see better pics, you guys are probably right it will go to a collector
