dont like the handbrake, love the looks and handling, the audio controls and cruise control stalks are a bit fiddly but I will learn to live with them, the annoying gear select indicator cannot be deactivated so just ignore it, Did I mention it looks amazing?
Fuel is running at 36mpg
16yr old bangs head if sitting in rear seats
Drives really nice, feels like I've been driving it for ages, no where near as hard a ride as the TT 2.0 TDi with 19" wheels which is nice as there is no way I could live with such a hard ride.

so,, day 3 and very happy bunny :)

Very nice Vass,

I love the hand brake :D strange the way we think of things.

I agree about the stalks being fiddly at first, but the good thing about them is that it will stop the wear and tare that you get on steering wheel buttons which can look tatty very quickly.

Yes, I think the ride and handling are great, never mind the TT being hard, you should have driven my last car, CIVIC Type R, I used to go over speed bumps, then have to get out and check just to make sure the tyres wern't flat, too hard

Nice arty pics to boot ;)

ah, ordered just 6 weeks ago, Dealer had placed orders for 3 when his Demonistrators were due in (all came with 18" wheels cos 19" are short at the factory so watch this on deliveries of GT's)
I was going to wait till Sept so I could have some extra bits, but could'nt wait so asked if he had a Black Diesel GT on his order book, and he did ! Result!

Hi

The car looks great ! And I must echo other comments regarding the photography, as good as car mags !

Have you paired your mobile up for use hands free? Was it easy? Does it work? Any tips?

Cheers,

Dave

Thanks for the nice comments on the photos, I'm doing some Night shots with the car this week, so watch this space!

Phone pairing is a sinch, full address book and calls list available on centre screen via blutooth,

Only niggle here is if you pop your phone in the nice phone shaped hold below the radio. Even if the radio is swithed off, you still get
the du du du du de de de electronic hunting as your phone changes masts coming through the speakers, only resolution is to move the phone away from the radio
and so the nice phone shaped hole, remains empty :-(

Hi Mikehatch.

I have had the same problem. I think you need to change your songs so they are in an MP3 format. That is what I did and it now works.
