Matt Black Cant Rails - Which Paint / Product?

Hey All,

My new RCZ needs a little TLC and the black plastic roof / cant rails need to be rejuvenated as they have suffered a little with the weather.

I have tried back-2-black, but this doesn't really help - so i am thinking about painting them.

Any experience of rectifying this issue? What products have been used?

I want to keep them matt black and would appreciate any ideas on methods and products!

That's a very interesting thread. Love the sound of the polishing rather than removing and painting - whenever you remove original parts, something always breaks! Lol.

Will try the Polish, black restore and then seal - just need to find suitable products from a UK supplier.

It's only 2 steps. 1/ remove stains with polish compound. 2/ wipe with Aerospace 303 or equivalent.
Step one could take quite some time and elbow grease. Be patient. Step 2 takes 30 seconds.

Thanks Apple for the clarification. Read up on Aerospace 303 and found it online no problem....looks like I have a weekend project! ;-)

Will post before and after pics in case it helps others.

I've mentioned this technique on here and the RCZ FB group but no-one has reported their results yet.
