Hi Folks, I hope everyone is keeping safe.

I've just noticed I can't find the locking nut to remove the wheels.

So question, will this have been on the car from new so dealer could find replacment.

Or where do they normal live, next to the tyre inflator?

I'm planning on doing away with it if I need to bust it off anyway and replace with a normal stud. Next question where can I pick up 4 normal studs, dealers only?

Cheers in advance folks.

Odd the key is missing it usually sits in the foam tray in the wheel well I changed all my original ones for a set of spline ones off ebay £25 & peace of mind I'd try dismantles for a set of bolts if the dealers want you to buy 4 for an arm & a leg although you may even get the locking nuts if your lucky from the scrap lads

Hi JC1. Had the same thing myself. The locking nuts on my RCZ were on from new and weren’t very good! I couldn't get them off even with the key, so had to drill them out which was a pain, but got there eventually. I did replace with normal bolts which I got from Euro car parts for a reasonable price. Good luck.

Have you checked the glovebox or centre console storage?

Has it actually got locking wheel nuts?

As I have replaced mine with standard bolts after 1 broke.

How long have you had the car? If it’s a fairly recent acquisition you should be able to go back to either the dealership you got it from, or if it was a private sale you could ask the previous owner.🤔

The original nuts are absolute crap another problem with the nuts is the collars rust to the stud ends making them a nightmare to get out hence that's why they all fail eventually I went on Ebay & bought a set of spline nuts the exact size & fit I think I paid about 20 to 25 quid but they are decent quality prob the same if not better than the originals
