I’ve got a sneaky feeling that might not be a very easy job :eusa-think:

Especially seeing as the Z’s doors each weigh the same as a Fiat 500

If you can manage it though, awesome

You may have checked this out, or it may not be applicable:
A friend, many years ago, had a Countach replica and the beams in his garage meant he could not open the doors fully when inside.

Yes I have considered that parking may be an issue in my garage and low level Mscp's

I have been looking for a while and weighting up the pros and cons, but am struggling to find a company that can do it in the uk ??

Har, har! You think you've got it bad.
Over here there seems to be an obsession somewhere in the powers-that-be, that safety equals raised crossings, so most villages, and more in towns and cities, have the blighters at every few hundred metres.
The Zero has a ground clearance of TEN centimetres, so it certainly slows me down!

Well I've gotta say NOT.....

to hesitate and get it done !!!! :wtf:

If there is one thing I've learned, it's we are all individual and whatever floats your boat it's upto you.

Certainly individual... I am sure I read somewhere that Peugeot considered Lambo doors, but excluded them because of rising costs.

Cheers. M.

Don't forget the wiring loom will need extending on both sides too to compensate for the extra distance of the doors when open ....which sounds like a bit of a pain!

My RCZ is my 2nd car and my 1st is a heavily modified Smart Roadster.

The 1st mod I carried out was fitting Lambo door hinges in 2005. They were specifically made for
that model, came from a German company LSD and cost c£900 - in 2005! But the quality is outstanding.

I have spoken to a lot of people who have modded their car (various models)with 'universal door hinges'
and the feedback was 100% - they would NEVER do it again.

£270 is WAY TOO CHEAP!!

If you can find an RCZ owner who has done the mod, get their overall view and get that make of hinge.
A reputable kit will always clearly explain the wiring loom arrangements (mine came with a extension)
