Not sure if most people jack up there cars to fit body kits etc but just fitted the Maxton front lip spoiler, side skirts and rear corners and did it with the car on the ground on my own, with all tools prepped beforehand and everything I need it only took me an hour and 20, not bad really

If your working on your own and have access to two jacks you can fit everything easily, trial fitted the front lip and side skirts, borrow the tools if needed as most people only have the one jack

Just remember when you line up the side skirts to put some tape or mark out your jacking points whether you use them or not to at least help others in ownership after you, hacksaw side ends the run Stanley knife across the top cuts a few times, you can then bend and pop off

Ran some gorilla grab for extra grip and used some 4x20mm self tappers with washers to distribute the load

All done, don‘t be afraid to use more self tappers than you think you need, if you press the lip down and it has some give then give it a tap (self) 🙃 don’t put the tappers too far in couple of cm from edge is fine, if you want on the side skirts as they are quite deep put another few cm inline behind

Rear spoiler extension to finish off, very small bead of gorilla grip around the double sided tape

With no lifting a right angle drill piece is a must

Tip: When you first get out the car you will catch the side skirt with your heel

Second tip: use about four self tappers 50mm apart where your heel normally comes out the car, see above for the reason why 🤣

Thanks for sharing it is quite a simple job but to some may seem daunting but thanks to your how to some may take on the job and save a little on garage bills.
Just a note I’ve recently been told that Maxton aren’t making anymore kit for the RCZ and they are now showing what’s left in stock on they’re site, I’m not sure how reliable this info is but if anyones thinking of ordering I wouldn’t hang about.

Really, that’s a shame if it is true as I’m sure it’s probably the most popular and subtle add ons we can get for ours

I was quite surprised how many other makes/models they cater for

Hopefully this isn’t the early start of something slowly coming to the end
