Hi All!
I'm not sure how many people here remember me, but I have just put a deposit down on an RCZ-R, so this will mean that I am back! :)

For those who dont know me, I used to be an admin, but, due to family life, I was unable to keep up the role and I also sold my RCZ. But, with my daughter now nearly three, and we have another daily car (BMW 420d Gran Coupe), I can have an RCZ again. And, I thought, why not the best one! :)

My old one was an Amber Red GT HDI,
My new one is Mercury Grey?

I'm really excited, I haven't even driven it yet!! I should be picking it up hopefully in the next couple of weeks.

Congrats mate! Awesome engine in the R!

Love the wheels on your first Z, they're kinda similar to mine!

Thanks :D I've always wanted one, and thought I'd never be able to due to their rarity. I'm so stoked I got one.

They were 20" Riva DTM. I loved that car lol

What a comeback!
Welcome back to the RCZ family and congrats on the new toy! You're going to love her. Separation is going to be much harder than with your previous RCZ :greetings-wavingblue:

Thanks guys, I'm glad to be back. This was a great community before, and I'm sure it still is!

I agree, its going to be hard to stay away from this one when I get it! I'm planning on having it for quite some time.

Thanks. I nearly bought the White one from Swindon, but this one came up for sale this morning, and I think the silver looks better!

I'm not 100% on the wheels, but will decide when I actually see the car in person.

Is rear bumper painted? There is noticeable color difference between rear bumper and rest of the body

It must just be the photography methods used, as quite a lot of photos I have taken, and others I have seen show a difference in colour between painted metal and painted plastic.

But, I guess I'll find out when I go and pick it up lol.

Welcome back Abz, fantastic choice of Z to get back with. My Moroccan Red’s bumpers look a totally different colour in a certain light from certain angles. If you see it on my CCTV in infra-red the plastic parts stick out like a sore thumb.

Looking forward to hearing what you think of your new R & comparisons to your previous Z.

Good to have you back

Seems that Mercury Grey is the popular choice then! lol.

Do you still have your Black one aswell TiaNorth?

I guess I am a bit of a Newbie again as I have to relearn all the stuff I knew before! lol.

Thanks DKZ, thats a bit of a relief on the paint front, I don't want to be disappointed when I go get it lol.

I'm excited to see how different and similar it is to my old one. I haven't owned a Petrol for years! I've driven an R on track, but really looking forward to driving it on the road.

Thank you. I'm touched to hear my posts are still helping people. I really had a passion for the car, and I hope I will again :)

Hi
Yes it wasn't long after that it went. I'm hoping to be able to go to more now that I'm back :)

Still have them both.

Black one was 4 years old last month, now with 40k.

Grey R is 1.5 years with 11k.
