Hi friends, I have a Peugeot RCZ and the screen has been stuck on the logo peugeot for some time
Does anyone know where the problem comes from?

You’ll probably have to replace the SD card this unit uses for storage.

Thanks so much for pointing me in the correct direction. I managed to fix the audio issue as well as an issue whereby my steering wheel button to change audio source wasn't working. I've updated my previous post on this thread to detail what to do.

What I don't get on the screen anymore is the indicator if I open a car door, or the "Checking" progress messages if I press the "Check" button below the speedometer. Any ideas on these? Surely it's another setting or two that enables these. Settings which aren't covered by that script.

EDIT: I fixed the above as well (having the screen show me when car doors are open, pop-up messages, etc. This is more complicated. You need to download the original MiraScripts (this is where the Deactivation of Activation Code files come from) for the RT6. You run this on a USB stick and select an option that saves your RT6's entire configuration on to it. This USB stick is then plugged into a computer with the program DatExplorer that allows you to edit specific RT6 settings one by one. This is where you find and enable the pop-up messages on the RT6. You can customise a lot more here too. Once you save changes, you plug in the USB stick back into the car and instead of saving the configuration, you replace it with your modified one. A reboot of the RT6 and it's done. The RT6 MiraScripts and DatExplorer are all available through here: http://mira308sw.altervista.org/en/

Hi, i have the same problem with no pop-up door (check button work fine). I tried your guide, copy config files to usb, but checked all 3 files (User_4 , User_com and User_config.dat) but cant find where to eneble that pop-up doors. Could you help please or anybody who solved this problem.. Thanks

Edit : Also i have problem while makeing phone call, that opposite site (caller) hear himself twice.

I new owner of 2012 RXH Hybrid4 Peugeot and I had follow this post with my SDCard problem - Card was replaced by new - soft was implemented (2.86B), audio sound turned on and required maps installed. Pop up inforamation and wheel steering are also working good - but there is few problems to solved.

1. on the dashboard there still information that radio and navigation are turned off but on the main navi screen radio and navi are working correctly.
2. before soft breake down I have 2 additional screen with Hybrid info (1st with Hybrid % usage/min, and 2nd with car visualization with battery/engine current usage) after above operation there is only Audio screen, maps and compass/maps screen.

off course there is still mic calibration to do as there is echo during phonecall - but as am aware it can be done only by Peugeot service



anyone have an idea how to proceed with remain problems?

Hello all,

I followed thorough guidelines here and I started updating from 2.20 to 2.86. The corrupt USB was sorted out and the update began. It lasted for about 25minutes restarting and everything until it booted and showed the map in the background and in the foreground message "insert navigation CD". At some point (as I was driving and was distracted) I couldn't get that off the screen and I pulled the USB out. Now the screen turns on but all black. I even opened the console and noticed that unit was still working, but nothing showed on the screen.

Anyone had this problem or know how it can be solved?

Can I just confirm the map update deactivation part please?

I went through and changed nothing except for the last one but then found my other SD card wasn't readable so had to clear the one I had and install the Map updates on it. I wasn't sure whether I'd need to do the deactivation again, but can I just check that the purpose of the deactivation is to change the Maps DRM setting to 1 and it will stay like that after reboot, allowing map installation?
