Hi guys!
This is my first post here, so I'll introduce myself:
I'm Bram, and my first car is a 2011 RCZ 200THP that I bought in october.

Here's my problem:
I had an OBD2 scanner plugged in for a while to monitor my coolant temps, and today I unplugged it to try it on a friend's car.
When I tried to plug it back in it fell into the hole right below the OBD plug, and disappeared. I've felt around with my fingers as best as I can, but it seems like the hole goes very far down and towards the front of the car.
Does anyone have an idea how I can get my scanner back out? Or will I have to tear the whole car apart, and it just isn't worth it?

For anyone who doesn't know, the OBD2 port is behind the little storage mat underneath the ash tray

Thanks a lot for your help guys!

It probably fell to the left or right side of the plastics near the legs. That should be soft enough to pull out just enough so the OBD2 reader falls through. Happened also to me, and I did not need to take apart this part.

So I should pull the piece that meets the carpet outward?

Whay the manual says:

There are more steps to disassemble the entire central body, but I think that with that you will have enough

No way, it worked! I was able to bend the plastic piece enough that I could slide the scanner right out! Thanks so much!

I also pulled this out, anyone know what this is?

Yep, everyone who's ever got behind the centre console has found at least one of those mysterious things lurking there! :D
