So 2020 draws to a close and most people will reflect its been a pretty terrible year.
We've lost some really great people to this pandemic and even those who have been lucky enough not to catch it have suffered major disruption to their lives
Lets hope that next year is better
Keep safe and enjoy your RCZs next year.

We started the year full of hopes, dreams and ambitions,
But put them on hold due to COVID transmissions.

Traffic disappeared, our commutes simply vanished,
Offices closed and to home we were banished.

It’s been hard to focus, pay attention and stay on tasks,
Was there really a time when we didn’t need masks?

Unforgettable it all was, for reasons aplenty,
But we have no problem saying, “Good Riddance, 2020!”

Blimey, the ghost of John Betjeman lurks in the RCZ forum.

Definitely good riddance.
My Mum died in February, so despite everything else that has happened, 2020 is the worst year in a long time.
Well unless you count 2019, when my Mother in law died..

Such a sad time for so many. I have been so fortunate that the only person I actually know who has had Covid was my eldest son who lives in London & got it early in the outbreak. Symptoms fairly mild though, at least compared to many others.
Let’s hope we can all stay safe, get the vaccine, and start getting on with the rest of our lives.
Happy New Year everyone. 👍🎉

There was an old bloke from birkenhead
Who always wanted an RCZ
Unfortunately for him he couldn't fit in
So he bought an old transit instead.

Have just scoffed twelve large seedless grapes, trying to keep up with the bongs of the clock in Sol, a main square in Madrid.
Not there personally, but with the assistance of the delectable Anne Igartiburu on TVE1, saw the new year in in isolation.

2021 MUST be better.
Felices 2021 a todos.

Our "celeb" neighbours are letting off fireworks, so we have a free show; unfortunately it is raining so not out on our balcony getting full benefit.
