Gas in header coolant tank

Hi there is gas present in the engine coolant header tank on my rcz 1.6 thp.is engine goosed or can it be fixed.any advice will be really appreciated thanks

Gas ? Do you mean fuel or Engine Oil or other contaminants? usually anything that goes back into the coolant expansion bottle may come out of the cylinder head if the gasket has blown you may need to pressure check the cylinders also you can get misfires etc
