Fitting new gear gaiter??

Original gear gaiter is starting to go so thought about a suede alternative.

But how easy is to fit a new gaiter?

It's very easy to do as you can push the gaiter down at the flat side near the Ash tray when this is done there's two plastic holes underneath the pointed end that push out easily no effort remove the gear knob and all will remove easily then you can can remove the plastic trim by pulling up on the gaiter there's holes in it to locate on the plastic insert line there's up fit it back into the larger plastic surround then feed all over the gear shift outer surround pushes back into place refit gear knob job done..  hope this helps you out
