I'm looking to replace my rear tyres , as fronts still have 6mm
Is there any problems replacing rears with 245/40/19?
Intention then would be to use 245/40/19 on fronts when due

You might find that the 245/40/19 will rub on the inner wing liner at full lock (on the front obviously)

I had to stick with 235/40/19.

I'm more interested about the difference between front and rear, if anyone else had gone down the road of altering tyre sizes in stages as opposed to all together.
It is bizarre, that others on here have gone 245/40, and not experienced any problems.

so has anyone put different sizes between fron and rear?
i am thinking of 235x40x19 in the front and 245x40x19 or 245x35x19 or 255x35x19 in the back
Whats more "correct" to do?

I have on the front 245x35x19
and rear 255x35x19.
No problems.
Drives also better on corners.
Looks much better now from the back.
