G'day Roger; respect! :eusa-whistle:French Letter said:stewartwillsher said:Will you be chasing 'roos in the outback? :crazy:French Letter said:Anyone know 'avarage' life expectancy from RCZ shocks?
I don't even think an RCZ has been in the outback. Even so, I won't be chasing Roger, that's for sure.
Check Roger out!

Cheers.
I guess they are covering themselves for possibly the worst case, where most of the miles are done on "unfriendly" roads.French Letter said:My Pug mechanic told me that Pug shocks are long lasting items. Now done 90K miles in my 207cc Sport and all is still tight. So why do these so-called experts say replacement is usually required at 50K miles?
French Letter said:I have read that, because us humans get used to things, i.e. adapt, then as shocks gradually degenerate, we don't notice the gradual decline. However, we are all different, so some may sense it whilst others may not. I've also read that some folks, after getting shocks replaced, find their car more firmer, and don't like it, even though the suspension was brought back to newish.
At 95,000 miles, I'm getting all shocks replaced on my 207cc Sport. I sense a slight roughness on bad roads. So I'll report back in a week or so to advise the outcome.
Cheers.
